the Buggy Trailer, Mark thought about mounting a bus seat
for comfort.
Don out early looking for moose - Denali is in the
background - it was a beautiful but cold morning.
I just can't understand whay we did not see any
moose?
Maybe because camp was just to darn comfortable.
Don played hood ornemant while Mark tried not to rub him off
on the alders.
Only one small breakdown when a breakline got ripped
off.
At the infamous bus where Chris McCandless was found dead
and where the story of his life was told in "Into The Wild"
it was sad to read his parents entry in the journal in the
bus - what a trajic and needless loss.
A vintage International Harvester from the 1940s, the
derelict vehicle is located twenty-five miles west of Healy
as the raven flies, rusting incongruously in the fireweed
beside the Stampede Trail, just beyond the boundary of
Denali National Park.
