Heading south on the Seward Hwy. turn left on O'Malley (east bound), then turn right on Hillside Drive. Take a left on Upper Huffman Road, then right on Toilsome Hill Drive to the parking area. It is a moderate to strenuous hike with 1,200 feet elevation gain; well developed on first part. Great view of Anchorage, upper Cook Inlet, the Alaska Range and the Chugach mountains. No bicycles or motor vehicles allowed past the parking lot.
